Sberbank calls on Russia to invest in cyber specialists
MOSCOW, Jul 15 (PRIME) – Russia should invest in training cybercrime specialists, of which there is a shortage, Sberbank Deputy Chairman Stanislav Kuznetsov said Friday at a meeting.
The world has 25–30% of vacant positions in the cybersecurity industry. “This competence in Russia as well as in other advanced countries is far from flourishing. We think it’s one of the main directions,” Kuznetsov said.
“When we discussed an operation to intercept criminal group Lurk, I remember we were practically unable to find a single investigator in the Interior Ministry who could understand what we were talking about. The situation was resolved as all got the gist quickly.”
Sberbank signed an agreement on strategic partnership with leading domestic universities, which stipulates a special course for specialists with a further employment at Sberbank.
